Accessibility Statement
Science of People is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone, applying relevant accessibility standards.
Our Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML and proper heading hierarchy throughout the site
- Skip-to-content navigation link on every page
- Keyboard-accessible navigation, forms, and interactive elements
- Visually hidden labels for all form inputs (screen reader compatible)
- Sufficient color contrast ratios for text and interactive elements
- Alt text for all meaningful images
- ARIA attributes for dynamic content and state changes
- Focus management for modals, search, and mobile navigation
- Responsive design that works with browser zoom up to 200%
Known Limitations
While we strive for full compliance, some content may not yet be fully accessible:
- Some older video content may lack closed captions. We are actively working to add captions to all video content.
- Some third-party embedded content (e.g., YouTube videos) relies on the originating platform's accessibility features.
